Compass Lake Engineering Adjustable Gas Block

The CLE Adjustable Gas Block is just like our standard Low Pro but it has been drilled and tapped to allow the gas flow to be adjusted for use with a suppressor. It is accessible from the Front so you can cover your gas block if you like with your handguard. This design was engineered in part by the AMU.

HOW TO ADJUST YOUR GAS BLOCK

1. Make sure that your gun is unloaded, the chamber is clear and that the safety is on.
2. Turn the set screw clockwise until it is seated against the far side of the gas port.
3. Turn the set screw counter-clockwise 2 full turns.
4. Load a single round into the chamber and safely fire your gun. If your BCG locks back, go to step 5. If your BCG does not lock back, go to step 6.
5. Turn your set screw clockwise ¼ turn and safely test fire your gun. Continue turning the set screw ¼ turn at a time until the BCG no longer locks back. Proceed to step 6.
6. Turn your set screw counter-clockwise ¼ turn at a time test firing after each turn until the BCG locks back. Proceed to step 7.
7. Test fire 5 single shot rounds ensuring that the BCG locks back after each round. If the BCG fails to lock back then turn your set screw counter-clockwise ¼ turn until you get a successful 5 round group.

Your adjustable gas block should now be adjusted. You may need to readjust if you use a separate lower or different ammo.

Repeat the steps above anytime you need to adjust your gas block.

NOTE: ALWAYS ENSURE YOU ARE USING PROPER SAFETY PROCEDURES WHEN WORKING ON OR SHOOTING ANY FIREARM.
