CLE Space Guns and Varmint Rifles

Compass Lake Engineering Space Guns are made from standard GI upper receivers which are machined flat and precision fitted with a custom site base with integral picatinny rail.  Some additional views of the CLE special adapter are show below. 

CLE Space Guns feature a three piece floating aluminum handguard slotted to accept your hand stop. They also come with a front sight base.  Front and rear sights are not included.  

CLE Varmint rifles are essentially the same as the space guns with the exception of the front sight base.  Varmint rifles are designed for 'scope only' use.

Both are available with either the modified receiver or a Flat top upper.  You also have the option of our standard Gastap or our Gastap with a Picatinny rail.  Pics on parts page.

Please note that the CLE Upper allows for scopes to be mounted such that you will have adequate eye relief when in the prone position.  Also, note that the front mounting ring of the scope is now forward of the front edge of the upper receiver.

If you have a flat top now and just want to clamp on a Flat Top Scope Mount, they are also available individually.  See the photo below.

Flat Top Scope Mount ($91.80).  Quick installation and removal.  Raises and extends your scope mounting surface for better eye relief.  Makes it possible to use standard medium height rings.  For use on Flat Top A-3 or A-4 uppers.
